CFA is continuing to help the families in Little Ferry and Moonachie who are still struggling to return to pre-Sandy conditions. Our next distribution of food and supplies to the Mobile Home Communities noted in the article below is scheduled for Saturday, October 19th:
8:30 am – 10:30 am: Vanguard Mobile Home Community-113 Moonachie Ave
11:30 am – 1 pm: Metropolitan Mobile Home Community-103 Moonachie Ave

Mobile Home Communities miss out on rebuilding grants
Providing emergency food and homelessness prevention assistance to local families and individuals in need. Last year CFA distributed $3.8 million worth of food – over 70,000 emergency food packages - and help 1600 families stay in their homes and keep their heat and electric from being turned off.
CFA also provides weekend food to local children through it Weekend Snack Pack Program, operates New Jersey Hunger Coalition, a program that working to end hunger throughout the State of New Jersey and CFA just launched a community garden in Englewood, NJ.
